Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution
Experience
Our Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group is comprised of a highly skilled and formidable team of litigation attorneys. We have a long and distinguished track record of success representing clients in a broad range of complex disputes. Indeed, three former members of our Firm have become federal judges. Our extensive litigation experience includes trying cases to both judges and juries in federal and state courts and before administrative bodies, as well as representing clients in arbitration, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
We are tireless advocates for our clients, but at the same time we recognize that "winning" is defined by our clients' business needs. Our top priority is to achieve the best possible outcome in light of a client's objectives, resources, and tolerance for risk. A trial is a major undertaking that involves a significant investment of time and expense, and can distract clients from their day-to-day business activities. With this in mind, we counsel clients on techniques for avoiding litigation and help them weigh the costs and benefits of each litigation strategy, from out-of-court settlement to trial and appeal.
When going to court is the best option, we employ our skills, experience, and knowledge - together with cutting-edge trial management techniques and technology - to create a compelling, cost-effective presentation.
