COVID-19 - NJ Governor Murphy Taps Tony Coscia for the Restart and Recovery Commission
Windels Marx is pleased to share that Partner and Executive Committee member, Tony Coscia, has joined New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy's Restart and Recovery Commission. The Commission will be tasked with guiding the State's transition from COVID-19 quarantine to recovery. The Commission is comprised of 21 members, all with substantive experience in health care, business, finance, academics, and economics. Read the announcement.
Shortly thereafter on May 12th, a separate announcement was made by New Jersey Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin's office regarding the establishment of an Economic Advisory Council. The Council -- including Tony -- consists of thought leaders in government, health care, education, business, commerce, tourism, social services and more. Their mission will be to advise Coughlin and other members of Assembly Leadership, as well as to complement the Governor's Restart and Recovery Commission, on efforts to ensure New Jersey can responsibly recover from the devastating impacts of COVID-19 when the pandemic subsides.
