Experience
Saibal is a Scientific Advisor and Patent Agent (Non-Legal) in the firm’s Hatch-Waxman Group, and specializes in assisting attorneys with scientific issues concerning validity, infringement, and patentability in the areas of pharmaceutical science and chemistry. He is also involved in opinion work and review of discovery documents during patent litigation.
Prior to joining Windels Marx, Dr. Singh was a Senior Scientist I at Frontage Laboratories. In that capacity, he performed LC (HPLC and LCMS), GC, and ICP method developments following USP guidelines to identify and quantify impurities present in drug products; characterized unknown organic impurities in drug products using synthetic and analytical techniques; and prepared technical and project reports.
Prior to that, he was a Visiting Student Researcher at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Chemical Development Unit; a Research Assistant at Temple University; a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology (Chennai, India); and a Summer Research Fellow at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (Bengaluru, India).
