The Honorable Roy Babitt Joins Windels Marx
Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP is pleased to announce the Honorable Roy Babitt joins the Firm today as Special Counsel with the Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Group.
Judge Babitt is a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee serving on the Southern District of New York panel. Former Bankruptcy Judge Babitt served as a bankruptcy judge until retirement in 1982 after 30 years of government service, including positions with the U.S. Department of Justice; Immigration and Naturalization Service; and as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Judge Babitt received his bachelor of laws in 1951 from New York University Law School.
