Law 360 Article Covers Lawsuits Filed by Windels Marx as Special Counsel to Madoff Trustee
A May 31, 2012 Law360 article entitled "Madoff Trustee Goes After $212M From Credit Suisse, Others" (subscription required) recognized Windels Marx's recently-filed lawsuits against Credit Suisse, Societe Generale and Clariden Leu, in Windels' capacity as special counsel to Irving H. Picard, the SIPA Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. The article notes that such lawsuits seek recovery from these financial institutions as "subsequent transferees of money from the Ponzi scheme's biggest feeder funds". Picard is represented in such actions by Howard L. Simon, Antonio J. Casas and Brian W. Kreutter of Windels Marx.
