Experience
Patrick concentrates his practice on financing transactions, including commercial real estate financing (acquisition, construction and permanent mortgage financing), and corporate financing. Additionally, he has experience in working out distressed loans, and the documentation of restructuring arrangements and loan modifications.
Patrick's clients are banks, financial institutions and other real estate lenders. He also represents developers, owners and investors in connection with their financing needs.

- Representation of a prominent national bank, serving as lender and agent, in connection with a $141 million syndicated credit facility to a joint venture consisting of two (2) national insurance companies and a major regional real estate developer for the construction of a 451-unit apartment project located in Fort Lee, NJ.
- Representation of a prominent national bank, serving as lender and agent, in connection with a $124 million syndicated credit facility to a joint venture consisting of subsidiaries of a publicly-traded national homebuilder and a global asset manager, for the construction of a 30-story, 113 unit luxury condominium building containing ground floor retail located in Sutton Place, Manhattan.
- Representation of prominent national bank, serving as lender and agent, in connection with a $119 million syndicated credit facility to a subsidiary of a major regional developer for the development of a 678,736 square foot, 24-story luxury mixed use building containing 360 residential units, approximately 213,000 square feet of office space, and ground floor retail space, with a 450-space subgrade parking garage, located in Philadelphia, PA.
- Representation of a prominent national bank, serving as lender and agent, in connection with a $116 million syndicated credit facility to a joint venture consisting of a national insurance company and a major regional real estate developer for the construction of a 507,000 square foot office building in Hoboken, NJ to be leased by a national educational products company.
- Representation of a prominent national bank, serving as lender and agent, in connection with a $100 million syndicated credit facility to a joint venture consisting of two (2) major regional real estate developers for the construction of a 337,000 square foot office building in Newark, NJ to be leased by a global electronics company.
- Representation of a prominent national bank, serving as lender and agent, in connection with a $90 million syndicated credit facility to a subsidiary of a joint venture consisting of two (2) major regional real estate developers for the refinance of a 645,000 square foot portion of an office campus located in Bridgewater, NJ, fully-leased to 12+ national and regional tenants, including many public companies.
- Representation of a prominent national bank, in connection with an $80 million credit facility to a joint venture consisting of two major regional real estate developers for the refinance of a 267,000 square foot retail complex in Washington, DC, leased to 20+ national and regional tenants.
- Representation of one of the largest national banks in connection with a $75 million senior secured credit facility to a major regional supermarket owner to support its acquisition, corporate, and working capital needs for its 22 locations throughout the northeast.
- Representation of a prominent national bank, serving as lender and agent, in a $64 million syndicated construction loan for phase one of The Crossings at Brick Church Station (East Orange, NJ). The financing closed in conjunction with various economic incentive program financings including New Market Tax Credits, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Redevelopment Area Bonds and other financing tools.
- Representation of a prominent national bank as agent and lead lender in a syndicated loan to partially finance the acquisition by a heavy equipment dealer of a neighboring dealer, creating one of the largest heavy equipment dealers in the Northeast.
- Representation of one of the largest national banks in their multi-faceted financing role in a new markets tax credit transaction (including representing the bank as source lender and bridge lender) for the comprehensive renovation of a 65,000 square foot facility located in College Park, GA, operated by a fourth generation family-owned high-quality ground beef purveyor.
