Windels Marx client, Township Green LLC, has opened its first cannabis dispensary in Riverside, Burlington County, NJ. The dispensary resides in a former bank branch and joins only a handful of New Jersey dispensaries with a drive-thru window.
Partner Karl Frederic represented the client from inception to operation, supporting the license application, structuring the business entities to minimize the impact of IRC Section 280E and negotiating both equity and debt financing. Partner Christopher Dean and Associate Justin DiCicco supported the private equity offering with the preparation of the business operating agreements and subscription agreements.
