Matt Daus, IATR Publish "Model Regulations: Smartphone Application Technology for Taxicabs & Limousines"
In response to the influx of smartphone apps in ground transportation, IATR President Matthew W. Daus (Partner, New York) empanelled a Smartphone Apps Committee in the summer of 2012 to research and examine the regulatory issues related to apps and draft proposed Model Regulations. The proposed regulations were the subject of an unprecedented international public hearing at the IATR 25th Anniversary Conference in November 2012.
