Experience

Bobby's practice focuses on pharmaceutical patent litigation. He has represented clients in a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, software and medical devices.

He possesses substantial litigation experience on both sides of the bar, including all phases of lawsuits - from fact and expert discovery to trial and appeal. His experience and capabilities extend to antitrust litigation, technology transactions that include settlement and licensing agreements, intellectual property opinions and analyses, Inter Partes Review, and patent and trademark prosecution.

Prior to Windels Marx, Bobby practiced at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, as well as a prominent boutique litigation firm, where he gained significant trial experience as an integral member of numerous trial teams.

Prior to law school, Bobby earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry and worked as a development chemist for the polymer industry. During that time, he served on an international polymer research team and developed several polymer composite systems used in the marine, wind, transportation and aerospace industries. Bobby also previously served as an adjunct professor of general, nursing and organic chemistry for several universities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Academia

While at the University of Texas at Arlington, Bobby was President of the Synergistic Graduate Chemistry Association (2000-2002) and earned the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award (2002).
